Alan Pirie Design / Samurai Guinea Pig

Traditional signwriting requested by Héctor Food & Fiesta in Trondheim, the city’s newest Mexican food and dishes with a modern twist . I have worked with one of the owners for many years, this was actually a last minute commission. They specifically asked me to paint the logo in a style that looked like it had been there many years and worn out

The walls were newly painted although were textured meaning it needed manual marking out with chalk (pencil would have been difficult to remove). I had one afternoon to do this large logo and some doors downstairs, also having an aged look.

The lettering was done to be exact replicas of their logo and required 1 coats of paint per colour to get the aged effect.
